Respect in Sport
This is a new two-hour on-line course on prevention of bullying, abuse and harassment. Hockey Canada is asking all branches that this be a mandatory program for all volunteers directly involved with children in their minor hockey programs. Type in the following link to take you to the course:

Safety Program
Each Division must have at least one team official that has taken this course. (6-hour program) Courses are offered at least once per year. The Executive will make every attempt to obtain further courses and training for the coaches, directors, and parent helpers. Information on these courses is available at Hockey NWT or www.hockeycanada.ca .
All Applicants
It is mandatory that you complete a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check. These completed forms must be returned to the Directors or Executive prior to first practice. Please visit the Hay River RCMP Detachment with two pieces of government issued ID, one with a photo.
